Just like last year, we will travel by almost all manner of transportation to get home to Mexico. Starting with Rick and the car, then BC Ferries (we are calling that the cruise part), then by van in van, and now by train - the trusty Amtrak from Van to Seattle. We love train travel - you
can walk around, visit the cafeteria car, meet fellow travellers, and see the country side, as well. This trip is almost all along the Washington State coast, so is very pretty.We saw lovely farmland, a brew pub right at one of the stations, and many awesome views of the sea - albeit through the pouring rain. But the closer we got to Seattle, the clearer the weather, until it was in fact a sunny day there!
