Friends and hockey.....:-)

So of course we had to take Judy and Elaine to David Lau's for the ever popular Men in Blues.......and of course great food, too!!!! Thanks for picking up the tab, you two...!














The place was rockin', as usual.............lots of great party tables and special occasions being celebrated!!

In anticipation for Botas moving to Canada, we are educating him on hockey - now this is Hockey Night in Puerto Morelos, but we do explain how the game is played and what he should watch for.........












Cheering is a bit of an issue, but we cheer for him when the Canucks score....! GO CANUCKS!!!!











Eventually, however, he gets bored and just retires to one of his favourite places on the patio.......

Valentine's Day Party!

Our casa was the scene for a Valentine party on Tuesday!













People brought food to share and all sorts of beautiful and fun Valentine presents....chocolates, candies, flowers..........

Candelaria celebraton Feb. 2

The 5th and final celebration, starting with Guadalupe on Dec. 12, then the Christmas Posada, Christmas day, 3 Kings on Jan. 6 and finally Candelaria Feb. 2, was held at Stan and Lety's. Here David and Stan enjoy some of the amazing traditional tamales....which were accompanied by the equally traditional hot chocolate and a hot vanilla and almond drink.

Sharon and Les had a fun bbq last weekend with friends Amy, Bob, Michael and Janet...and Sharon and Les's God daughter Sofia and her Dad Vic.....

Miki came by for an hour from the bookstore, but didn't get in any of the pics....

These 2 are great hosts....Vic made the amazing burgers, but there were lots of awesome munchies, including Les's famous Welsh cakes......

Sofia is the namesake for Sharon's dress shop in PM, and is a sweet lovely girl....fun to see everyone - thanks for these pics, Vic!

Daf's blog.....

As you may know by now, both of our cameras are non functional - one either has sand in it or the lens motor has died, and the other had a drink spilled on it and refuses to open. Sigh. So I am on the hunt for another one, and the blog is going to be courtesy of whomever I can get to send me pics. Hopefully I will have another one soon and can continue sharing the sights, sounds and people of Puerto Morelos.
